The silver-lining of Covid has been the entré of "The Parklet"...parking spaces in front of businesses converted into outdoor dining & wine-tasting space. Some of the tasting rooms have gone above and beyond to curate an inviting, beautiful space to enjoy their menus.
I hope these never go away. Who wants to sit inside anyhow?
Banshee Wines
Banshee is just a cool place to be. Forget that they pour a legit menu of wines.
Their pinot, chardonnay, sauv blanc, rosé, red blend and cabs are lovely & affordable.
And...they're smack in the center of town. So start or finish your day of tasting here.
They're open 'til 7:00--great place to go before your dinner reservation...

The Drink: Leo Steen
I'm not religious but if I were, I'd thank God for Chenin Blanc and then kiss him on the forehead for Leo Hansen.
The BEST Chenin I've ever had and a collection of wonderful varietals he's crafted for you to taste.
Darling tasting room just a few blocks away from the plaza. SO worth the short jaunt over there.

The Harris Gallery ART + WINE Collection
An art gallery that's a wine-tasting lounge. With incredible wine too?! OMG.
One of the most beautifully inviting, bougie outdoor spaces on the plaza.
Gorge art adorns the labels made from custom artwork found in the father/son gallery.
Celebrated wine-maker, Wells Guthrie, crafts premium rosé, chardonnay (94 points) & pinot noir (92 points) for tasting.
The King-of-Chenin, Leo Hansen, produces a Chenin (90 points) for tasting.

Great spot to taste some excellent pinot. (They make a ton...)
An authentic turn table with a large selection of vintage vinyl plays background music and giant windows open to the street.
Don't be overwhelmed by the amount of pinots to taste.
I recommend tasting each of the geographic regions, picking your favorite,
then delving into the single-vineyards within this region.
They also offer several micro-brews on tap for the beer-lovers in your group.
