But since I live ON a wine road, I have credibilty to advise you on this. 

The bike route is on a windy, narrow, shadowed road. Without bike lanes.

And people taste wine and drive on these roads. 

It's just unsafe.

But if you insist...there are a couple shops in town that will rent you a bike so you can pedal out on your suicide mission.

Try to stay in town or to roads with bike lanes.

And if you're staying at Hotel Healdsburg or H2, they have cute cruisers

for you to use for free.
